School *inserts eye-rolling emoji*

I can't be the only one who hated high school. I hated everything about it. Waking up at 6 a.m. to catch the bus at 7 a.m., just to arrive to school at 8:15 a.m..... Going to class with a bunch of people who talked about one another. It was pretty terrible.

Growing up I was told that high school would be one of the best experience of my life. Watching tv shows like That's So Raven, Hannah Montana, Lizzie McGuire, All That, and High School Musical, I just thought it would kind of be like that. I don't even talk to half of the people I went to high school with. I walked in with about 10 friends and left with three.

My high school career wasn't completely unfortunate. I was the only one in the county to play a specific instrument, I was chosen to play with the air force band. Band was really life! It was also very stressful. Our teachers sat us in a small, hot, and crowded room. Teaching us almost nothing, I mean I remember almost nothing from high school. Maybe it was just my school.................

Elementary was where it was at though! Nap time, snack breaks, and recess. Best five years of my life!  I'd have to say, if I had to chose to go back to Elementary, Middle or High School..... I'd pick Elementary any day.

What was your favorite time period of school? Elementary, middle or high and why is it your favorite?

  1. My favorite was high school simply because that's when I glowed up lol. I wasn't the first in middle school so when high school came and I lost some pounds and gained more and more friends each year. By the time I had reached my senior year I knew almost everyone at school and ended up being nominated for Homecoming Queen. Now that I think about it I received more that just a title in school I got life long friends as well that I know will have my back through whatever.

  2. I really never enjoyed school. It was alright at times but I would have just rather been doing something else. If I had to choose my favorite would have been High School. I had a lot of freedom in High School and it was really laid back for me.

  4. Elementary school was my favorite. I liked elementary school because it was just sooooo easy. My favorite part about elementary school was the field trips, nap time, and snack time. The work was always easy. When i graduated elementary, and moved on to middle school, that is when i started to have to work hard.

  5. High school was my favorite mainly because it's the only time period I can really remember lol and because I thought I was poppin during those times. I was on the cheerleading team and I won all of the superlatives in my class that I was nominated for. I also won prom queen and it seemed like everybody loved me for who I was. I do believe that college would be my favorite in the end though because I have experienced more in one semester here than I have in my whole entire life.

  6. Middle school was my favorite because I generally had fun and didn't have any worries. Class was easy and I also participated in sports so it was a fun time. Also I was a big fan of the field day experience, where students went out and participated in different activities.

  7. My favorite time period was Elementary School. I use to move a lot during Middle School and High School, so I always had new people around me and I didn't really care to meet new people because I was going to leave anyway. My Elementary days was easy and I had so many field trips. There were nap times, recess, and all my teachers were nice.

  8. I'd definitely pick high school for various reasons. I had a lot of freedom to do whatever I wanted to do with my best friends, and it was certainly the best time of my life. I was genuinely happy all throughout high school because thats when I felt most comfortable and loved about that people I surrounded myself with.

  9. I hated school from day one until I graduated. I even flunked out of college during my freshman year because I'd only gone in the first place to appease my parents. A few years later, after working for minimum wage, I started to realize that maybe there were tougher things in life than college and I went back and retook all those failed classes (paying for them out of my own pocket this time) and began my college career in earnest. I really enjoyed it the second time around because I had a perspective I'd never had before, growing up.
